Tailwind Raceway is a 1/4 mile drag racing facility presently under construction on an 81 acre parcel of leased land near Fort MacLeod, Alberta.

At this time, phase one of construction has been completed. This includes engineering, planning, and construction of the base work for the track and the return road. Phase two involves paving and concrete work to complete the race surface and get the facility operational on a limited basis with improvements done as funding becomes available.

To date, several hundred thousand dollars in work has been done at the site and a request to purchase the land from the Town of Fort MacLeod has been presented to town council for their consideration. If approved, this would possibly make this the one drag racing facility wholly owned by its members in western Canada.
