A Tribute To The Efforts Of Jim Watmough

As the dream of a race facility becomes reality, it is important that we recognize the efforts of individuals and groups that have shared the dream and have made contributions toward the realization of the dream.  An individual who has done an incredible amount of work over the years and has donated untold hours to making this happen is Jim Watmough.  Jim had a major role in the design, engineering and on site development of the facility. He spent countless hours surveying, fencing and planting trees.  Even though there were many set backs and hurdles, he never lost hope or the vision of a world class drag race facility in Fort Macleod.  I would like to take this opportunity to applaud Jim’s efforts and thank him for his dedication to the dream.
