June 2008 Newsletter 

We have an

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

regarding our

JULY MEETING.

Our July meeting will be the 2^nd Wednesday, July 9^th at 7:30 pm at JOSS TECHNICAL  3218 – 12^th Avenue North, Lethbridge. 

 **The reason for this meeting day change is,  we have several of our members volunteering at a 2 day Casino on July 1^st and 2^nd. We look forward to seeing you there at Casino ABS and supporting our cause.  

During the last few weeks many of the drag races and show and shines have had to be scheduled due to our rainy season.  This past weekend (14^th) the Winston Churchill High School Show and Shine went off without a hitch on the first sunny day that we’ve had in a while. We had five of our club members’ race cars on display and were able to sell some raffle tickets. Thanks Andy!

There is not a lot of new developments with the track to report at this time.  There is car shows and racing happening every weekend.

We are looking forward to the 30^th Annual Street Machine Weekend that is fast approaching on July 11, 12 and 13^th here in Lethbridge.  Friday night cruise,  100 foot acceleration contest, show & shine etc.  For details go to:  www.streetwheelers.com
